Brentwood City Hall is closed to the public for several months during a renovation project. The Court office has relocated to the Public Works building at 8330 Manchester Road. Effective October 14, 2019, Court will be held at the Brentwood Recreation Complex, Room C, 2505 S. Brentwood Blvd., Brentwood, MO 63144.
On July 22, 2019, Brentwood Municipal Division Court transitioned to the State of Missouri's Show-Me Courts Docketing Software as mandated by the Presiding Judge of St. Louis County. The court will be operating out of two court docketing software programs for a period of time. Please contact the clerks of the court if you have any questions, concerns or trouble locating your citation online. We appreciate your patience during this transition.
Brentwood Municipal Division Court
The municipal court is a division of the 21st Circuit Court of St. Louis County. The presiding judge is the Honorable Patrick D. Dignam. Court is held on the second and fourth Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and defendants are called by order of sign-in. The Prosecuting Attorney is Michael Shelton and Attorney Call is at 6:00 p.m. If this will be your first appearance in court, you may request a continuance by telephone. Please contact the court staff no later than 3:00 p.m. on your court date. Only one continuance by telephone is permitted and only on your first appearance.
Brentwood Municipal Division Court's Violations Bureau Hours
Monday through Friday: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Payments accepted until 4:30 pm. On court days, the payment window is closed at 3:00 pm to prepare for court. The office is closed most holidays; please refer to the City's calendar.
Uniform Schedule of Fines and Forms of Payment (effective 7/22/2019)
As ordered by the Judge, the State of Missouri Uniform Schedule of Fines (PDF) is a list of violations that are payable without a court appearance. A mandatory signed Plea of Guilty, Appearance and Waiver for Traffic Citations (PDF) form must be completed and returned along with your payment to close the case. A court appearance is necessary for a plea of not guilty. Court costs are assessed on each violation whether or not you appear in court, as mandated by the State of Missouri. If you plead guilty to a moving violation, you will have points assessed to your driver's license. Please visit https://dor.mo.gov for more information regarding the Missouri point system prior to payment.

It is the responsibility of the defendant to pay the appropriate amount to the correct court. No refunds will be given once payment is made.

Attorney Recommendations are NOT payable online. Telephone payments are acceptable if the court has received the signed attorney recommendation. Payment can also be mailed or hand-delivered to the Court office.
The Violations Bureau and Court Office is temporarily located at the Brentwood Public Works building, 8330 Manchester Road, Brentwood, MO 63144. From I-64, exit on S. Brentwood Blvd. Turn left on Manchester Road. The Pubilc Works building will be on your right.
Court will be held at the Brentwood Recreation Complex. From I-64, exit on S. Brentwood Blvd. The Brentwood Recreation Complex is on the right just south of Litzsinger Road.
