Brentwood Police Explorers Informational Meeting

Police Explorers Meeting 10.17.18

Brentwood Police Department is hosting an informational meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 6:30 pm at the Brentwood Recreation Complex (2505 S. Brentwood Blvd.) for the new Brentwood Law Enforcement Explorer Post 9191. The Exploring Program, a division of Boy Scouts of America, exposes young men and women to the career of law enforcement and is designed to provide young adults with an effective tool to build character, promote citizenship, and develop personal and mental fitness.

The Brentwood Police Explorers Post is a community service-oriented program aimed at young adults, ages 14-21 who have completed 8th grade and who have a GPA of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and who are of good moral character with no criminal history.

Parents are encouraged to attend the first meeting.
