Proposal for Manchester Road Corridor in Brentwood

Green Street Proposal

Green Street Real Estate Ventures presented their proposal for redevelopment of Brentwood’s Manchester Road Corridor at the Brentwood 353 Redevelopment Corporation Board meeting on July 19, 2022.

At the July 19 meeting, the Brentwood Redevelopment Corporation recommended that the Board of Aldermen designate Green Street as the preferred developer of the Manchester Redevelopment Area and enter into a funding agreement with Green Street to provide a source of funds to evaluate the Green Street proposal and to negotiate potential incentives for the project, subject to appropriate approvals by the Brentwood Redevelopment Corporation and the Board of Aldermen.

Green Street presented their proposal to the Board of Aldermen on Monday, August 15.

On August 30, Green Street hosted an open house session for community members to learn more and ask questions about their proposal.

On September 19, 2022, the Board of Aldermen voted unanimously in favor of a resolution to designate Green Street as the preferred developer of the Manchester Redevelopment Area.
