Request for Qualifications for Architectural Design Guidelines
The City of Brentwood is requesting proposals from accomplished consultant or team of consultants to create Architectural Design Guidelines to aid in the review and provide an expectation for Residential and Commercial Development Projects Review at the Planning and Zoning Commission and Architectural Review Board.
Provide five (5) copies of the proposal, marked on the outside of the envelope “City of Brentwood Architectural Design Guidelines":

The proposals should be delivered no later than 4:00 p.m. June 9, 2023. The date and time of receipt of the proposals as noted by the City of Brentwood will be conclusive for all purposes. The City of Brentwood reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted.
A team of City officials will evaluate the proposals. If deemed necessary, a short list of firms will be notified for follow-up interviews, expected to be conducted the week of June 19th. The evaluation team will summarize its findings and submit their recommendations to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
If deemed necessary to help establish a fair and responsible cost for services, the City may request copies (from the “selected” firm), of the past five Design Guidelines contracts for which that firm performed services. Any objections to this must be clarified in the response to this RFQ.
The City of Brentwood reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted. Any inquiries concerning the proposal should be directed to Whitney Kelly, Director of Planning and Development, at . Contact with other City officials or members of the Board of Aldermen is prohibited.
