Work anticipated in the next three weeks on Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District’s Project Clear in Brentwood:
- DC-02 & DC-03 Relief Sewer Phase 2: The sewer pipe excavation is being backfilled in Brentwood Park. The CM team and contractor will meet with representatives from the Brentwood Parks department later this week to define the limits of the aggregate surfacing and seeded areas. This restoration work is scheduled to occur over the next three weeks. The completion of asphalt paving work on Bremerton is weather dependent and may not occur until Spring.
- Deer Creek Sanitary Tunnel – The Tunnel Boring Machine has completed excavating the main tunnel.
- Deer Creek Sanitary Tunnel – The contractor continues excavating a shaft from the surface down to the tunnel at the site near Brazeau and Suburban Tracks. The shaft excavation through the soil is complete. The shaft excavation through the rock, which is being performed using drill and blast methods, will continue until late February.
- Deer Creek Sanitary Tunnel – The contractor is continuing with drill and blast excavation of the tunnel, which connects the shaft located near Breckenridge Industrial Court and Manchester Road with the main tunnel. This work will continue for several months.
