Work anticipated in the next three weeks on Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District’s Project Clear in Brentwood:
- Deer Creek Sanitary Tunnel – The contractor has completed setting up the site to accept delivery of the ready-mix concrete that will be used to line the Deer Creek Tunnel. Concrete deliveries began at this site on June 9 and will continue through the summer.
- Deer Creek Sanitary Tunnel – The contractor completed the drill and blast excavation of the tunnel from the shaft located near Breckenridge Industrial Court and Manchester Road on June 24. The contractor is preparing the tunnel for installation of the fiberglass sewer pipe. Pipe installation will begin in early August. Pipe is being stored on the former Midwest Floor site, within a fenced area, until it is installed in the tunnel.
