[ARCHIVED] Brentwood Police Department Body-Worn Camera Program

Police Department News

After nearly two years of research and testing, Brentwood Police Department is proud to announce our officers have been outfitted with body-worn cameras.

Officers will be required to activate cameras when engaging in patrol duties, such as crimes in progress, vehicle stops, searches and arrests.

Recordings will be retained for a minimum of 30 days (or longer if the recording is involved in court proceedings, investigations, departmental needs, etc.).

We look forward to body-worn cameras aiding us in our mission to perform law enforcement duties fairly and impartially and to enhance transparency within the community we serve.
