Political Signs

It's election time! Here's some information about political campaign signs and election-related signs, per the City of Brentwood Municipal Code 410.040 https://ecode360.com/29383932

For residential districts, the number of signs is limited to the number of questions or candidates on the ballot for the upcoming election. The maximum sign area is limited to 6 square feet per sign face.

For commercial or industrial districts, the number of signs is limited to the number of questions or candidates on the ballot for the upcoming election. The maximum sign area is 16 square feet per sign face.

Political signs may be displayed 30 days prior to and 3 days after an election, under City law.

Signs shall not be placed upon the public right-of-way, including City-owned property (parks, fire stations, city hall, etc.) and will be removed if found on public right-of-way or land.

Signs shall not be placed upon private property without consent of the property owner.

All ground-mounted signs must be placed 10 feet from the road.
