Brentwood Bound Construction Update

Construction work details anticipated in the next two weeks on the Brentwood Bound projects:

Flood Mitigation Phase 1

  • Complete installation of the top slab for the Diversion Structure near Mary Avenue
  • Adjustment of sewer structures
  • Sewer improvements
  • Mass excavation, excavated soils hauling, and soils export
  • Earthwork filling north of the Event Lawn
  • Completion of the sheet pile wall installation south of Deer Creek

Flood Mitigation Phase 2

  • Bore pit excavation and rock breaking for the pipe-in tunnel beneath Manchester Road
  • Slide rail shoring system installation
  • Pipe-in tunnel boring beneath Manchester Road
  • Overhead powerline relocation 

Deer Creek Greenway Connector Part A

  • Pavement and hardscape demolition
  • Demo of structures at 2948 S. Brentwood Blvd.
  • Storm sewer installation
  • Haul road installation

Event Lawn/Comfort Station Roof

  • Roof plywood installation
  • Roofing installation
  • Steel stud exterior wall framing
  • Above slab MEP rough-in
  • Fireplace gas line install

MoDOT Manchester Road Improvements

  • Sawcutting and removals
  • Form and pour sidewalks, curb ramps, curbs, gutters and approaches
  • Deep sanitary sewer installation
  • Electrical rough-in
