Is it necessary to have a permit to replace my driveway?
A street excavation permit is required for any work in the right-of-way or if you wish to widen the driveway, apron the driveway or relocate the driveway. A street excavation permit also is required if a sidewalk is to be replaced as part of your driveway project. The Planning and Development Department will inspect the work to make sure it conforms to regulations.
